Here we go. I'll try not to make this boring. If you're already bored or have ADD, here's a link to my portfolio.

60's: Born in Peshawar, Pakistan in 1966. Don't remember anything else.

70's: Read a lot of Amir Hamza novels in Pakistan. Moved to the US in 1976, where I saw Wonder Woman for the first time and knew I was a hetrosexual. Culture shock coming here was huge. Also, my english kinda sucked. Called boys "she" instead of "he" and got beat up over this... a lot! Later saw Dukes of Hazzard and knew I wasn't going to be a good ol' boy, redneck or a NASCAR fan. I thought Star Wars sucked and thought Superman was the best movie ever. Got into comics and I'm still into 'em.

80's: High School was awful. Ran a lot for Cross Country and Track. MTV was great. I know the lyrics to all the popular 80's songs. Also, a big Nazia Hassan fan. Became a Trekkie. Went to a Star Trek Convention. Blown away by Alan Moore's Swamp Thing and Miracleman. Boris and Frazetta became influences. At this point, if you're a woman, you've probably stopped reading this and I don't blame you. If you're still reading this, I SALUTE you! Anyways, dissapointed mom by not going into medicine. Even worse, decided to go to art college, a parent's worst nightmare. "Thank you, come again", adding to stereotypes, worked at a convenient store while attending college. Well, at least I didn't drive a cab. The Fly and The Color of Money ruled! Self analysis of self as I look back now upon my youth: LOSER!

90's: Graduated from School Of Visual Arts in NYC. What a great experience! Got married at 23 to the most beautiful woman in the world. Had a daughter on my 26th birthday. Started illustrating romance novels. Favorite Models to work with, Steve Sandalis and Laurie Grace. Nothing like seeing your work for the first time in a bookstore. Started getting into Photography while doing photo shoots for romance novels. Got tired of illustration and decided to take some computer classes which led to a job at Gordon Publications, now Reed Business. Ballooned to an un-godly 240 pounds.Cool 90's stuff: Film Threat Magazine, Quentin Tarantino Films, Joss Whedon's Buffy, Indian Movie Songs, etc. Summing up the Nineties: It's good to be married!

00's: Lost 55 pounds on slim-fast and exercise. Discovered DVD's. While an office environment is fun (especially gossiping about people having affairs), it's not very creative. I've had urges to do something creative, but painting was a mountain i've already climbed. Photography seemed interesting when I was doing photo shoots for romance novels. Also, it's quick, where as a painting takes a month or so to do. So I invested in lighting equipment and am into photography now. Just had another daughter and she's a real cutie. Ain't life grand!
